Gloria's Books for Prisons
"Last year we donated several cartons of my books to a prison in Los Angeles for use in program created and facilitated by a reputable woman, Dr. Mara Taylor, a psychotherapist whose program is entitled the same as the book Getting Out By Going In. I received very moving letters from inmates who expressed their appreciation for material that supported their desires to use incarcerations as an opportunity to grow in self awareness and make conscious choices for their futures. I am continuing the program and intend to expand it by sending more books to similar program in prisons."
